Jim Eastburn
VP-CFO
Jim Eastburn is Chief Financial Officer with Heartland Crop Insurance (HCI).
He joined Heartland Crop Insurance as CFO in 2002. His responsibilities include all financial operations for HCI, including finance, reporting, and accounting.
From 1991 through 2001, Jim served as CFO of Famous Brands Distributors, a wine and spirits wholesaler based in Topeka. Prior to his years with Famous Brands, he spent 16 years in public accounting as a CPA, providing accounting and auditing services for various industries including construction, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and non-profit organizations. |
| Jim, a Marine Corps veteran, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Washburn University (KS). Jim and his wife LaVonne have two wonderful daughters and seven grandchildren. Jim enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golf and taking trips with his wife on their motorcycle. |
