Mike Miller is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Crop Insurance (HCI).
Mike founded Heartland Crop Insurance, Inc. in 2000. With the help and assistance of many talented and dedicated people, HCI has grown into one of the more notable MPCI Crop Insurance writers in the country.
Prior to founding HCI, Mike was a high school teacher and basketball coach. In 1974, Mike joined Blakely Crop Hail as a claims supervisor and fieldman. In 1989, he was named President, and served in that position until 1999. During Mike’s tenure at Blakely, he was a board member of National Crop Insurance Services (NCIS) and American Association. |
of Crop Insurers (AACI). He testified on behalf of these organizations before the House and Senate Agriculture Committees in Washington, D.C. In addition, Mike has also been a keynote speaker at various International Agricultural Insurance Seminars.
Mike earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Fort Hays State University (KS). Mike and his wife Ronda have two wonderful daughters and four grandchildren. Mike’s passions include golf and keeping up with the many personal friendships he has developed over the years. |
